Come and be Uplifted
In 2017 the Costa Blanca Anglican Chaplaincy, under Philip's direction formed a choir to perform the Graham Kendrick Christmas Suite 'The Gift'. This was performed to appreciative audiences at multiple locations around the Costa Blanca.
The group enjoyed singing together so much they asked Philip if they could carry on and so Cantãmus was born.
They sing a range of music with and empahsis on songs to uplift the spirit. They sing songs from spiritual to pop, classical to musical theatre, but all the music is designed with the aim of uplifting the singers and audiences alike.
Rehearsals
The group meet on a Monday morning at 10.45 (until 13.00) at the Ermita San Josep, La Fustera. For more information contact Philip on the form above.
The songs are generally in four part harmonies, and whilst being able to read music is helpful, it is not essential as Philip will provide you with all the tools necessary to learn and enjoy the music.
